Obtaining Performance Licenses
All performances of my work—whether performed in the original Dutch or English translation, and regardless of whether admission is free or a fee is charged—require a valid performance license. Securing a license ensures compliance with copyright law and fairly compensates me, the playwright, for my original creation.Key Terms of Licensing
When you license one of my plays, you are granted the specific rights to stage that particular work under the following standard conditions:
Integrity of the Work: Licensees may not make any changes, additions, alterations, deletions, or variations to the text, title, or character details without my explicit prior written permission (or that of my representatives).Version Specificity: Rights must be secured for the exact version you intend to perform (e.g., the "Extended Form" for a full cast or the "Solo Performance Form" soliloquy).
Royalties and Fees: Amateur and professional production licenses require the payment of an agreed-upon fee (royalties or a flat fee) which will be detailed in the final agreement. How to Secure Rights
To inquire about performance rights, licensing fees, or to request a perusal script, please Contact Me Directly.I will provide you with the necessary information and guide you through the process of securing a formal license agreement. A performance license is not valid until this agreement has been signed by all parties and the appropriate fees have been paid.

In addition to performance licenses, every play in my repertoire has been officially published and is available in book form (print or digital editions). Each published work has been assigned a unique International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
The assignment of an ISBN and official publication formally reinforces the comprehensive copyright protection that automatically applies to all of my creative works. This protection is effective in all territories that adhere to the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works. Please be aware that purchasing a physical script grants you the right to read the book, but it explicitly does not grant permission to perform the play in any capacity—amateur or professional. All performance rights are retained exclusively by me (Yvonne Padmos )and must be secured separately through the formal licensing process detailed above. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or performance of these copyrighted works is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.
